Here’s a your daily dose of new music!

The King of Pop has released a new track titled “Xscape” from his upcoming album of the same title. The track was written by the King of Pop himself and producer Rodney Jerkins during recording sessions from his last album before his death “Invincible.” In the song, Michael seems to be sending a message of people leaving him alone and him escaping from all the craziness he faced when he was alive. “Xscape” kind of gives a similar vibe to Michael’s 1987 hit song “Leave Me Alone,” which sent a similar message.

The release of the track comes just a little a over a month before the release of the album, which is set to be released next month on May 13th. Back in December, a song off the album titled ” A Place With No Name” was leaked on the net. TMZ also leaked a 24 second snippet of the record back in 2009, just three days after Michael’s death. The album will feature 8 unreleased joints from Jackson’s estate, which was accessed by Epic Records head boss L.A Reid. Besides Dark Child producer Rodney Jerkins, Timbaland, Jerome JRoc Harmon, John McClain, and Stargate will also serve as producers of the album. In addition to that, Mary J. Blige, Questlove, and D’Angelo will be featured on Xscape. The record will be Michael’s second posthumous compilation.

Bookmakers have tipped off that Xscape may become the biggest selling record of the year. Take a listen to M.J’s new track below:
